Tentus Cost Manager is a powerful cost capturing engine which allows users to establish budgets, track all planned expenditure and one off payments on a property by property basis and generate comprehensive reporting and benchmarking.

Tentus Advanced Cost Manager captures all portfolio costs while tracking,  forecasting and budgeting costs over a time line. Reports are automatically generated over Division, Sub Division, Region, Country, State or property group.

User may benchmark individual property costs and performances against a portfolio or industry standards. Financial reports can be generated on a per record basis or at any level within the organisational or by geographic structure.

Each organisation is able to establish user defined categories, payees, divisions, sub-divisions and sub-categories which in turn allows a high degree of flexibility in delivering an automated payment and invoice tracking solution.

GL and accounting codes are tracked against costs and their categories allowing automatic generation of payment journals for inputting into financial packages such as PeopleSoft or SAP.

Expected costs, invoices and paid costs are all tracked against property records within Tentus CRE. Payments may be back dated and processed at any date required by the operator. In the same way future payments may be authorised to occur at any date.

Reports of past payments may be generated by users and reporting on un-invoiced expected costs allows users to reconcile rental commitments or any cost which has gone un-invoiced.

Tentus CRE supports automated periodic payments which can be passed to PeopleSoft via the Tentus Integration Server. The Tentus Integration Server can be configured to receive notifications from accounting notification servers of processed transactions allowing automated tracking of payment receipt numbers. Payment reports from clients accounting packages may also be imported into Tentus CRE by the user.

Monthly cost journals and budget variance reports provide users with easily accessible information about financial commitments. Extended invoice reporting allows users to review metered usage taken from recorded invoices such as KW hours, water or gas usage.

Budgets for the current year and forecasts for future years are tracked by cost category and sub category as determined by the client or Guardian Global Systems. These budgets and forecasts allow an accurate picture of expenditure across the property portfolio.

As current expenditure is tracked via the invoice management section of the cost capturing module, reports can be generated to show budget variance on a month by month basis or as cumulative expenditure.

Budgets and forecasts within the system can be generated from current or historical expenditure, allowing automatic increases for fixed reviews or applying escalators for market reviews as determined by the user.
